Questions about padel rackets

Which padel racket should a beginner buy?

A round racket with a soft EVA core and a weight of about 345 to 365 g. In our range that is Tor (3K carbon, £79) or Fen (glass fibre, £59). See beginner padel rackets.

What is the difference between round, teardrop and diamond?

The shape moves the sweet spot and the balance. Round keeps the sweet spot low and central for control, teardrop lifts it a little, diamond puts it high for power. Our shape comparison has diagrams.

How heavy should a padel racket be?

Most adult rackets weigh 340 to 375 g. Lighter rackets are quicker and easier on the arm, heavier ones hit harder. Read the racket weight guide.

Do your rackets meet the official size rules?

Every adult Lobwell racket is designed to the FIP limits: 45.5 cm long, 26 cm wide and 38 mm thick, with a wrist cord fitted.
